Account Manager, Aerospace & Defense (24155)
Summary
The ideal candidate will serve as the primary reputed company of contact for reputed company customer-reputed company matters, leading the management of RFQ and proposal processes through reputed company. This role requires proven expertise in account and program management reputed company electronic manufacturing services and the ability to work independently from a home office while ensuring exceptional customer engagement and operational efficiency. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Overseeing customer account and operational management, including quoting and agreements to maximize profit

- Drive end-to-end quotation process as primary liaison, partnering with site leaders and program managers to define strategy; review and approve pricing for accuracy and profitability; coordinate with internal team members and customers to resolve issues; and ensure seamless transition to operations post-contract award.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of product, services and solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Clearly communicate customer needs to the organization and ensures the development of plan and actions to exceed the customer objectives

- Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow business opportunities
- Assist with challenging customer requests or issue escalations as needed

- Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Responsible for ensuring our New Product Introduction Process exceeds customer expectations.
- Responsible to prevent exposure to excess and obsolete material due to customer engineering changes and end of life programs.

Experience/Education
- 10+ years of proven program management/account management experience
- 5+ years' experience in electronic manufacturing services (EMS)
- High level of general business acumen
- Strong business management ability, including P&L responsibility
- Ability to influence cross-functionally, both reputed company the company and with external companies/customers
- Prior management experience preferred
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent required, MBA preferred
