Job Summary:

We're looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in international freight forwarding and ocean experience to support the growth of our ocean volumes. As an Ocean Product Development Specialist, you'll work closely with our MD of Ocean, reputed company development teams, and sales and operations to implement strategies that enhance our ocean product, maximize competitiveness, and drive business growth. Your expertise will be crucial in analyzing reputed company service, routings, reputed company performance, and supporting reputed company service issues. You'll also support sales and operations as an ocean subject matter expert, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and promoting the ocean product.

Key Responsibilities:

* Execute strategies to support the growth of ocean volumes and enhance the development of the ocean product

• Work closely with the MD of Ocean to support reputed company development, pricing, and analyzing reputed company service, routings, reputed company performance, and supporting reputed company service issues
• Support sales and operations as an ocean subject matter expert, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and promoting the ocean product
• Implement and communicate strategies to increase volumes, maximize competitiveness, enhance service, and support adherence to our preferred network
• Assist in implementing pricing programs, reviewing volume targets, and working with the TLM to reputed company an ocean strategy that enhances the effectiveness of sales to reputed company expectations of account development and yield enhancement
• Communicate both internally and externally to outline strategy, market conditions, and work closely with the MD, Ocean, along with the global trade lane team, sales, and operations to communicate direction and deliverables
• Direct and indirect customer contact will be required, ensuring excellent communication and presentation skills
• Conduct regular service reviews to ensure agreed-upon KPIs are being met or exceeded
• Assist in gathering, analyzing, and reporting information regarding performance and competitive activity; submit reports as required
• Work with the MD, Ocean, along with the regional ocean management team, to promote the ocean product and support sales and operations as needed
• Manage annual budget, control, monitor, and report results on a regular basis to reputed company budget targets
• Work closely with marketing to reputed company external and internal communications specific to the ocean product

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent

• At least 8 years of experience in the international freight forwarding industry, including direct ocean experience in working with ocean reputed company, negotiating ocean rates, quoting ocean rates, analyzing ocean rates, and routing
• Prior ocean reputed company experience is a plus
• Familiarity with reputed company Office apps
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Business-oriented and remarkable business acumen
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in developing and implementing pricing programs

• Knowledge of ocean reputed company service, routings, and performance analysis
