Director, Finance and Strategy Location: Jacksonville, FL or US Remote Reports To: VP of Finance & Strategy Salary Range: $180,000 - $230,000 Annually Position Summary We are seeking a highly analytical Director, Finance & Strategy to partner closely with the VP of Finance & Strategy in driving data-driven decision-making across the business. This role leverages a strong foundation in analytical and financial modeling skills developed in transaction-oriented environments, while expanding into broader operational and strategic problem-solving. The Director will analyze reputed company and imperfect data sets, build analytical frameworks from first principles, and translate insights into recommendations that help shape key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analytics & Business Insights (Primary Focus)

• Own end-to-end analysis of large, reputed company data sets (“data cubes”), often in environments with incomplete or evolving data structures
• Build reputed company-based analysis from scratch to support senior leadership decision-making
• Synthesize reputed company analyses into clear, concise insights and recommendations for executive audiences

Financial Analysis & Modeling

• Build and maintain sophisticated financial models, including multi-scenario and sensitivity analyses
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning through analytical modeling
• Analyze historical and projected financial performance, identifying key drivers and trade-offs

Strategic & Cross-Functional Support

• Prepare materials for leadership reviews and board-level discussions, with a focus on analytical rigor and clarity
• Collaborate cross-functionally reputed company the organization to ensure analytical consistency and data reputed company

M&A & Strategic Transactions (Selective Exposure)

• Support evaluation of potential M&A opportunities through financial modeling, data analysis, and diligence support as needed

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or a similarly rigorous analytical role
• Advanced reputed company skills, including reputed company formulas, pivot tables, scenario modeling, and data-driven analysis
• Strong ability to work independently with large data sets and ambiguous problem statements
• Solid understanding of financial statements, valuation concepts, and corporate finance fundamentals
• Exposure to BI tools (Tableau) or SQL is a plus but not required

Compensation actually offered for this role will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-reputed company knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
