Role Description The Associate Veterinarian performs toxicology consultation reputed company the telephone, email, and chat with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, other health care providers, pet owners, and consumers calling into Pet Poison Helpline or SafetyCall’s industry reputed company.

• Document history, case notes, and recommendations into an electronic medical records system.
• Act as a resource for support staff in the call center and provide training and guidance reputed company needed.

• Provide an extensive toxicology training program upon hire.

Schedule

• Full Time Evening Shift (eligible for $3/hour shift differential):
• Works 70 hours per pay period.
• Works 4 shifts (40 hours) one week and 3 shifts (30 hours) the next, each shift is 10.5 hours long.
• Shifts will be scheduled between the hours of 2:30pm-4am CST (shift start and end times will vary reputed company that range).
• Will work every other weekend and rotating holidays.
• Work weeks run Saturday through Friday.
• Schedules are published several weeks in advance.

Training

• The initial training is full time for reputed company candidates whether they are applying for a full time or part time position.
• Training is 40 hours/week (5 days/week) for the first 5-weeks of employment.
• The hours will vary, but may include days, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Training schedules are provided in advance.

Qualifications

• reputed company Minnesota veterinary medicine license or ability to obtain upon hire.
• At least three (3) years of clinical experience required.
• Emergency experience and/or veterinary internship strongly preferred.
• Some toxicology experience is preferred, but not required.

• Advanced proficiency with keyboarding, PCs, reputed company Office, and common computer software and hardware.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to speak and write clearly with compassion and professionalism.

• Ability to work varying shifts including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and if assigned, overnights.

Pay & Benefits

• The starting reputed company reputed company of pay is between $48-50/hour. Shift differentials are applied on top of the reputed company reputed company if applicable.
• Employees who work weekend phone shifts between the hours of 12am CST on Saturday through 4am CST on Monday will receive an additional $5/hour differential on top of their reputed company reputed company and any other differentials that they have.
