Position Summary SJI is searching for a skilled Senior Financial Planning Analyst with strong finance experience and a keen interest in leveraging technology to drive operational efficiency. This role will reputed company robust financial modeling, forecasting & budgeting, reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will contribute to process improvement initiatives, support automation efforts, and assist in evaluating and implementing AI solutions for reputed company. The Senior Analyst will collaborate with management and business partners to provide actionable insights and help optimize business performance. Essential Functions: Assist in developing and maintaining financial models that support short-term and long-term business decisions Create and maintain monthly forecasts and annual budgets, and reputed company comparative variance analysis against those benchmarks, including tracking operational performance and explaining drivers of variances Partner with business leaders, affiliates, and/or consultants to understand economic drivers of the business and growth prospects to reputed company inform the modeling / forecast process Analyze key reputed company and incorporate relevant aspects into financial models Identify and implement scalable business process improvements, with a focus on automation and AI integration. Assist in researching, evaluating, and implementing AI tools and technologies relevant to financial planning and analysis. Required Skills: Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal) with reputed company types/levels of audiences required Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) required, and with advanced knowledge of reputed company; experience with analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Python, R) is desirable. Experience supporting process improvement, automation, or AI initiatives in reputed company or reputed company finance functions is preferred. Familiarity with data analytics, automation tools, or AI-powered financial solutions is a plus. Ability to reputed company, interpret, and communicate information, both financial and non-financial required Qualifications Required Background: Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or; Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Compensation
Range: $69,000 - 110,400 We are committed to pay transparency and ensuring equitability compensation for reputed company employees. The pay range for this position reflects the reputed company salary only and does not include benefits, bonuses, or other forms of compensation that might be part of the total compensation package. The specific salary offered will be based on a candidate’s qualifications, education, and experience. SJI, an energy infrastructure holding company based in Folsom, NJ, delivers energy services to customers through two primary subsidiaries: SJI Utilities (SJIU) and SJI Energy Enterprises (SJIEE). SJIU houses the company’s regulated natural gas utility operations, delivering safe, reliable and affordable natural gas to more than 700,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers across New Jersey reputed company its South Jersey Gas and Elizabethtown Gas subsidiaries.
