The Compliance Investigator is responsible for conducting thorough and high-quality investigations to address concerns raised through the company’s ethics hotline program (“Speak Up! Program”). This role requires advanced investigative skills, including analytical abilities, attention to detail, interviewing techniques, and report writing. The Compliance Investigator will work independently and collaboratively to ensure that reputed company investigations are conducted in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies. This position reports to the reputed company Global Compliance Investigations Leader and is part of the Compliance team reputed company the Legal function located in Japan. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Conduct Investigations: reputed company and manage investigations into compliance-reputed company issues, including fraud, corruption, human resources, financial, conflicts of interest and other potential violations of company policies and regulations. Conduct effective interviews, adapt questions based on responses, and build good rapport with interviewees. Identify inconsistencies in statements, assess witness credibility, and uncover hidden truths.
• Analysis and Reporting: Independently analyze evidence, identify applicable laws, regulations, and policies and the key issues presented, and provide reasonable conclusions from effective fact-finding. • Cross-Cultural Competence: Effectively apply cultural knowledge to facilitate communication and gather information in cross-cultural settings. Adapt investigative approaches to respect cultural norms and improve cooperation from diverse groups.
