Electronic Health Record Analyst III
Location: Work from home (Pennsylvania) Shift: Days (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Worker Type: Regular Exemption Status: Yes Job Summary: Responsible for the performance of tasks reputed company to EHR system implementation, adoption, enhancement, and support. This includes but is not limited to analysis, development, training, testing, documentation, go-live and on-going support, problem resolution, and maintenance. Job Duties:
- Possesses a strong understanding of assigned and reputed company application(s); can demonstrate a proficiency in navigating through the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Meets with relevant personnel and coordinates information gathering and workflow observations.
- Demonstrates the understanding of both the reputed company and proposed workflows and can document the workflows using a flowchart format. Evaluate proposed solutions to streamline the workflow to reputed company efficiencies and implements the most appropriate solution.
- Produces documentation including reputed company and future state workflows, pros/cons, gap analysis, needs assessments, design specifications, build documentation, test plans, project plans, status reports and transitionary documentation.
- Coordinates testing including scenario-based, integrated, and parallel testing.
- Cultivates critical thinking atmosphere across team(s) to problem solve and strives to understand the root cause of the issue.
- Communicates effectively with peers, informaticians, stakeholders, project teams, and leadership. Provides regular updates regarding work status and demonstrates appropriate issue escalation.
- Actively contributes in meetings by being an engaged listener and offering both feedback and input.
- Learns to recognize the integration points reputed company and across the various HIT applications as well as the integration points with other reputed company systems.
- Completes system build and documentation in accordance with department guidelines and in adherence to change management policy.
- Prepares training material and conducts training classes in either virtual or in-person settings.

- Participates in team on-call rotation to provide 24x7x365 support to assigned areas.
- Provides remote and/or on-site support as needed to end-users.
- Supports system upgrades, patches, and monitoring.

- Participates in vendor review and selection processes.
- Demonstrates understanding of the integration and technical requirements of peripherals and devices that reputed company with or integrate with assigned applications. Examples include laboratory instruments, radiology modalities, medication cabinets, printers, and scanners.
