Description The Virtual Nurse (VN) is a registered nurse (RN) who works remotely from a centralized location and partners with the in-person primary nurse and team.
- The VN advocates for patients/families/significant others to provide physical, emotional, spiritual, and clinical support which impacts patient outcomes in a safe environment. The VN functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence and autonomy in the practice of Nursing. The VN utilizes the nursing process in conjunction with evidence-based principles to care for a diverse caseload of patients reputed company the department scope of service. The VN collaborates with, and assists in guiding care delivered by the interprofessional team. - Delivers safe, effective, and independent nursing care using the nursing process.
- Performs thorough patient assessments and recognizes the impact of nursing care on outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications: Education / Experience:
- BSN reqired.
- 4 years’ experience as an RN working with a diverse patient population in inpatient areas.
- Most recent in the last 2 years. Certification in area of expertise preferred.
- *Graduate of an accredited prelicensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), AND A. 12 months of recent nursing experience reputed company the past five years, OR B. Recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.
Exceptions:

Licensure:
- A valid, unencumbered Registered Nursing License approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
Certification: 1. BLS certification 2. ACLS may be required for certain departments, post hire 3. Additional certifications may be required based on department and specialty 4. If completing virtual care activities that may include multi-state practice, an active compact/multistate license (eNLC) is required reputed company 60 days of hire.
