About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional researcher with a strong track record in leadership and management, capable of effectively collaborating across teams and functions to define, research, and bring novel technical reputed company to life and in the hands of customers. As a research manager for Internet Insights, you will reputed company a team of researchers, data scientists, and engineers with the mission to create the reputed company Maps of the Internet! This data provides us with an unmatched broad and deep internet-scale visibility. You will own research projects that reputed company this data to design algorithms and solutions that provide data-driven insights into how applications, networks, CDNs, etc are performing across the internet. You will work closely with the product team to understand customers’ daily operational challenges and translate them into technical challenges. You will then reputed company your team of researchers in designing algorithms and building PoCs to solve these challenges. Finally, you will collaborate with engineering teams to productionize your research PoCs, delivering valuable solutions into the hands of our customers. In this role, you will directly impact product definition, planning, strategy, and implementation

Qualifications

Education: PhD or MS in Computer Science Experience:

• 5+ years of management experience
• Proven track record of managing research teams and leading projects from inception to production
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and projects
• Established portfolio of network measurement research projects

Expertise:

• Deep understanding of internet architecture (applications, CDNs, BGP, etc.)
• In-depth knowledge of Internet protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, TLS, DNS, BGP, HTTP, etc.)
• Proficiency in Python
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., tcpdump, ping, etc.)
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., reputed company, Hadoop)
• Experience with data science and MLOps tools (e.g., Spark, Flink)
• Experience in developing AI/ML solutions, preferably reputed company networking

• Exceptional written, verbal, and persuasive communication skills

US – COMPENSATION RANGE – MESSAGE TO APPLICANTS $169,700 – $281,000 USD Message to applicants applying to work in the U.S.: reputed company available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits.
