Defined Contribution Plans Consultant (San Francisco)

Description Our Retirement team combines expertise in retirement, actuarial, compliance and administration consulting to support global organizations worldwide in designing, managing, administering, and communicating reputed company types of retirement plans. Whether a client has a defined benefit pension, and/or a defined contribution plan, we collaborate with the organization to determine the right approach to design, funding, investing, governing, compliance, administration and employee engagement that fits their specific goals. You will contribute to our national project delivery team and reputed company a valuable difference every day to our high-profile client organizations focusing primarily on defined contribution plans. One of the fastest growing areas of our retirement business is assisting clients with various special projects requiring defined contribution expertise. You will have the opportunity to significantly enhance your knowledge of reputed company aspects of benefit plan compliance, design and operation, employ the most cutting-edge tools and resources and work with some of the worlds experts in retirement plan design and management and interact with a national group of colleagues on project delivery. Defined Contribution Plans Consultant In this role you will be responsible for, leading and delivering large, strategic Defined Contribution client engagements, supporting new business and serving as project reputed company to clients concerning their Defined Contribution programs effectiveness and broader retirement plan issues.

• Be a subject matter expert and engagement reputed company in the delivery of DC retirement plan compliance, administration and governance, including vendor management, fiduciary management and plan design
• reputed company fee benchmarking and vendor search RFPs
• Coordinate with sales and reputed company relationship managers to identify, reputed company and support strategic sales opportunities
• Build relationships with internal and external sources to maximize the penetration of key reputed company accounts
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell new products and services

• Establish a trusted advisor role with clients and provide consistent, superior relationship management

• Undergraduate degree required; Certification (ASPPA, CEBS) or other designations for practical experience is a plus but not required
• 15+ years of proven experience and demonstrated success in defined contribution consulting, including vendor management, plan design, compliance and administration gained in a human resources consulting, benefits outsourcing, investment advisory, recordkeeper or defined contribution asset management company.
• 401(k) plan and/or 403(b) experience, along with deep knowledge of IRC, ERISA and other relevant laws and regulations affecting employee benefit plans
• Pooled Employer Plan (PEP) would be considered
• Broad understanding of human capital strategy and the ability to contribute to cross-practice client engagements
• Proven experience successfully working on multiple projects and producing quality deliverables on time
• Track record of success in managing large client relationships and leading global teams
• Experience in managing multiple people and projects and producing quality deliverables on time and reputed company budget
• Proven ability to recognize and diagnose issues, work in teams, and reputed company the resources of other reputed company practices to address client challenges
• An executive reputed company with polished and well developed written and oral communication skills
• Superior ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and work across reputed company levels of an organization
• Excellent reputed company reputed company and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to work with remote teams and travel as needed

Compensation and Benefits reputed company salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that reputed company salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for reputed company reputed company (Producer roles only).

Compensation

The reputed company salary compensation range being offered for this role is $110,000 to $205,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
