This role involves bridging the DSE platform team and the data science community by providing technical support, creating educational content, and fostering community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Partner with member of the Data Science community to implement best practices and align with platform vision

- Provide technical support to data scientists, answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and offering guidance on best practices

Skills
- Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a reputed company technical field
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science such as Python or R, with experience in libraries like pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and data visualization tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to translate reputed company technical concepts into accessible content for diverse audiences
- Experience in creating technical documentation, tutorials, and educational materials
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and product managers
- Understanding of data science platforms, MLOps practices, and model deployment strategies
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms and data science workflows, particularly with containerization and orchestration technologies
- Knowledge of software development best practices including version control (Git), code review processes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to gather, synthesize, and communicate feedback effectively between technical and business stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in troubleshooting technical issues across diverse environments
- Experience with the DSE (Decision Science Ecosystem) platform or similar enterprise data science platforms
- Knowledge of agricultural domain applications and crop science use cases
- Familiarity with Location360, Market360, Product360, and Crop Science Warehouse (CSW) products
- Experience organizing or facilitating hackathons, workshops, and technical meetups
- Background in developer relations, technical evangelism, or community management roles
- Understanding of containerization technologies (reputed company, Kubernetes) in data science contexts
- Experience with data formats and reputed company description languages such as Protobuf
- Experience with content creation including blog writing, video production, or podcast participation
- Understanding of machine learning model governance and compliance requirements in enterprise environments
