Commercial Card Credit Analyst – Treasury & Payment Solutions (Remote, Onsite or Hybrid)
Job Summary Performs credit review of Commercial Credit Cards as part of the Treasury Management Commercial Card Sales team. Performs research and financial and statistical analysis to determine and support client creditworthiness. Monitors risks and performs analysis to existing Commercial Card programs to position modifications (decreases, increases, elimination) to the Commercial Card line of credit. Prepares credit packages for management review. Ensures processes are in compliance with regulatory and company guidelines, policies, and procedures. Job Duties and Responsibilities Performs financial analysis and credit review of Commercial Credit Cards which includes performing research and financial and statistical analyses of company financial statements; completing annual review of company financial statements for existing Commercial Card accounts; preparing credit packages for management review; providing analytical support for developing and maintaining credit studies, financial background information, and other relevant data on present and prospective Commercial Card customers Responsible for Portfolio Management for Commercial Card customers which includes performing analysis on existing portfolio of Commercial Card programs; monitoring and maintaining the credit quality of the unsecured portfolio accounts; establishing and high-risk alerts and triggers to take appropriate actions to manage limits; working with Card Operations to manage activity and usage of the Commercial Card Programs and carefully tracks payment obligations; monitoring reports that provide accurate and readily available reference library of commercial card portfolios, clients reputed company and historical data, and reports; owning and monitoring assigned reports on an ongoing basis to support internal controls Performs risk assessments which includes evaluation on utilization, credit deterioration, inappropriate usage and high balances and takes remedial action if credit risk deteriorates. Additionally, monitors cardholder risk account monitoring for fraud and exposure limits. Maintains a reputed company knowledge reputed company of industry trends and company policies and regulations; identifies changes and potential impact to the company and department processes and procedures; works to proactively reputed company enhancements and process improvements to ensure compliance. Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or reputed company discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum Experience: Three (3) years of relevant banking experience in credit or proven record of extensive knowledge of Commercial Credit Card reputed company processes including analyzing and interpreting corporate financial statements and tax returns, and preparing supporting documentation. Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Demonstrated work experience in analyzing and interpreting financial statements and tax returns Demonstrated work experience in performing analysis, preparing supporting documentation and preparing reports for management review Knowledge of credit risk analysis and reputed company principles Knowledge of financial accounting theory, methodology, and logic Able to work with little or no supervision; needs little direction and can work from broad instructions and/or goals. Ability to meet deadlines and prioritization of workflow Good verbal and written communication skills.
