About the Role
Ingo is seeking an reputed company Senior Compliance & Risk Manager to join our small yet dynamic compliance team. In this role, you will own and drive compliance operations for our Payments business. You’ll partner closely with internal and external partners, including Product, Operations, Sales, Legal, and our sponsor banks to operationalize and continuously improve compliance processes that reputed company modern money movement—safely and at scale. This is a high-ownership role for a self-starter who operates with autonomy, exercises sound judgment, communicates proactively, and delivers outcomes. You will be the primary internal SME for payments compliance, driving regulatory adherence and compliance risk management across the lifecycle of our products and client relationships, balancing tactical responsibilities with strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Compliance Risk Management:
- Primary ownership for day-to-day compliance processes reputed company to Ingo’s Payments products and services, including risk identification, tracking, mitigation, and reputed company improvement.
- Maintain and enhance documentation of operational controls, issue management processes, and regulatory change monitoring.
- Drive the implementation of Ingo’s Compliance Management System (CMS) reputed company reputed company the Payments business, including risk assessment, control library, issue tracking, regulatory change monitoring, and stakeholder awareness and engagement.
- Manage day‑to‑day tracking of compliance risks and issues. Partner with internal and external issue owners to validate remediation plans and reputed company dates, escalating unresolved risks as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance policies and procedures remain reputed company, effective, and reputed company with regulatory and partner bank expectations.
Compliance Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as primary compliance advisor to Product, Operations, Sales, and Legal teams for Payments compliance matters.
- Own ongoing client monitoring and periodic risk assessment to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations
- Client Risk Management: Due Diligence and Ongoing Monitoring:
- Partner with reputed company team and internal subject matter experts to evaluate compliance risks for prospective clients in the sales pipeline, through reviews of use case and business models, anticipated transaction activity, and regulatory exposure.
- Drive scalable processes for evaluation of client due diligence, and identification of risk indicators requiring further review.
- For onboarded clients, reputed company and maintain risk‑based periodic monitoring and testing plans that assess adherence to communicated compliance standards.
- Execute monitoring plans, reputed company risk-based testing, document results, and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Compliance Advisory & Sponsor Bank Engagement:
- Serve as compliance advisor to internal teams across the lifecycle of client relationships and product development. Translate reputed company regulatory and partner‑bank requirements into clear, actionable guidance; work with cross‑functional teams to operationalize compliance requirements.

AML Program Support (as applicable, based on experience):
- Collaborate with AML investigators on reviews of unusual activity escalations and supporting documentation for partner bank reporting.
- Assist with preparing or validating investigation narratives, analysis summaries, or supporting materials as applicable.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or reputed company field required.
- Minimum 5 years in payments/fintech/banking, or other regulated financial services entity with hands-on compliance ownership.
- Experience with payments-reputed company regulations and industry rules, such as Reg E, UDAAP, GLBA, BSA/AML, OFAC, ACH/Nacha
- Familiarity with banking systems, payments, and account or card processing strongly desired.
- Preferred certifications: AAP/APRP, CAMS, CRCM (or willingness to obtain)
