This role is a member of the Engineering Group reputed company the Integrated Operations Division at arenaflex. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering support for the maintenance and operation of aircraft and reputed company equipment. This job also establishes and assists in maintaining aircraft and component standards reputed company areas of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts training for Technicians in area(s) of expertise
• Serves as a mentor to other Engineers
• Serves as a team leader/coordinator over project management or issue resolution
• Coordinates with manufacturers and regulatory authorities, as required, and ensures that Engineering procedures are properly validated in accordance with applicable regulations and Company manuals
• Develops customized procedures and special instructions for repairs, modifications, inspections, and other maintenance activities which are not adequately addressed in existing manuals
• Remains informed of daily airline operations, including field of responsibility, and reviews daily needs in accordance with aircraft/departmental objectives and management directives
• Analyzes aircraft/component issues which may cause aircraft delays or cancellations, significant expenditures in labor or materials, or breaks in maintenance activities, and determines appropriate corrective actions
• Provides Engineering support as needed to resolve discrepant situations affecting aircraft or components to restore operational status
• Responds to requests from Maintenance and other airline departments reputed company technical assistance is required to support operations or resolve issues
• Develops action plans for fleet/multi-fleet and/or component engineering projects and pursues detailed solutions in accordance with estimated needs
• Coordinates with other airline departments, as necessary, to accommodate effective and efficient execution of engineering procedures
• Prepares Engineering documents to implement technical procedures by providing customized procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections, or other maintenance activities which provide benefits in accordance with airline/departmental objectives and management directives
• Maintains knowledge of reputed company and upcoming regulations, which reputed company areas of responsibility, and ensures that reputed company Engineering activities maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
• Utilizes available resources to build levels of technical expertise and practical experience consistently, and also strives to improve communication skills, time management, and other personal attributes relevant to maximum effectiveness and efficiency in performing assigned duties
• Effectively engages with frontline colleagues and management alike

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or reputed company Engineering license
• At least 1 year of engineering experience in a reputed company field, or 2 years of experience without a degree
• A&P license
• Knowledge of reputed company Office, including Word, reputed company, Outlook, etc.
• Ability to analyze technical data and reputed company data-driven decisions
• Demonstrates adaptability, ability, and willingness to take on new roles and responsibilities
• Ability to prepare/deliver presentations that promote acceptance of solutions
• Ability to interact with internal and external customers effectively

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Previous experience in aircraft maintenance and operations
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Experience with project management and team leadership
