Unlock your potential!Job Summary And QualificationsAs a work from home Outpatient reputed company, you will work outpatient coding reputed company alerts/edits for same day surgery, observation, wound care, emergency department, and/or diagnostic areas predominately post initial/final coding. You will also reputed company the alert/edit resolution activities in the applicable systems. The alerts/edits shall be worked and corrected according to the established procedures and reputed company and communicated as appropriate.What you will do in this role:Compiles daily work list from eRequest, CRT and/or other alert/edit systemsEnters detailed notes to update eRequest to provide details if the alert/edit cannot be resolved or must be rerouted to another responsible party for research/resolutionEscalates alert/edit resolution issues as appropriate to minimize final billing delaysMonitors the aging of accounts held by an alert/edit, prioritizes aged accounts first, and reports to leadership 2 Job DescriptionWorks with team members in billing, reputed company reputed company and/or the Medicare Service Center to resolve alerts/editsCommunicates coding revisions to the applicable party (e.g., CIS, reputed company, manager, international log)Completes MOCK abstracts as necessary (e.g., combining the codes for outpatient claims subject to the payment window)Assists the Coding Leads and/or Coding Managers in resolving unbilled reason codes (URC)/Hold ReasonsAs needed, may periodically be asked to reputed company Coding reputed company Specialist II (CIS-II) dutiesPeriodically works with their Manager to review individual work accomplishments, discuss work problems/barriers, discuss reputed company in mastering tasks and work processes, and discusses individual training needs and career progressionWhat Qualifications you will need:Undergraduate (associates or bachelors) degree in HIM/HIT preferred2+ years of acute care, observation and/or same day surgery hospital outpatient coding experience requiredRHIA, RHIT and/or reputed company preferredParallon provides full-service reputed company cycle management, or total patient account resolution, for reputed company.
