Executive Director, Artificial Intelligence

POSITION SUMMARY Sets the company’s overall artificial intelligence (AI) strategy, including the design, development and implementation of technologies that will drive business transformation and enhance customer experiences. LOCATION Remote - (US) FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB Essential Functions: which may be representative but not reputed company inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.

• Prepares the strategy for ensuring BMI’s use of ethical AI, including spearheading an inter-department AI governance team and oversees implementation of ethical AI across identified projects.
• Identifies new business models that could be enabled using AI technologies.
• Identifies AI projects of high business impact including both product-reputed company projects and research projects.
• Determines the AI projects/products implementation processes including project inception, exploration phase, model building phase, model deployment, and model retraining.
• Prepares annual roadmap for implementation of identified AI projects.
• Prepares the plan and oversees the implementation of the AI platform which will be used to deploy and host ML models.
• Identifies technologies that will be used for development, testing and deployment of AI/machine learning models.
• Implements quality assurance, performance testing and model acceptance processes.
• Implements reputed company delivery/deployment strategies (A/B testing, canary testing etc.) of machine learning models.
• Implements machine learning pipeline automation to be used for automated ML model retraining and testing.
• Oversees the implementation of AI infrastructure to be used for model training/retraining and model deployment in production.
• Ensures the use of cloud services in relation to local infrastructure for fulfilling different requirements.
• Communicates BMI’s AI strategy to stakeholders including affiliates, customers, partners, employees and the public as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly and indirectly supervises team members responsible for technology innovation, product and application development, IT operations and project management. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, directing and ensuring reliability of work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor’s degree in reputed company field; equivalent experience considered. Experience: Ten (10) years’ reputed company technical and leadership experience reputed company IT architecture and/or development areas. SKILLS AND ABILITIES Which may be representative but not reputed company inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.

• In-depth knowledge of reputed company AI research areas and reputed company trends.
• Experience building machine learning models including data preparation techniques, feature engineering techniques, machine learning models (ML) and reputed company ML algorithms.
• Knowledgeable of reputed company developments in the field of AI – Safe AI, Ethical AI, Fair AI etc.
• Experience with Cloud AI/ML services on AWS, GCP, Azure.
• Experience with Cloud computing services.
• Knowledgeable of Big Data technologies and reputed company cloud services.
• Experience with software development lifecycle, project implementation methodologies such as agile, etc.
• Experience with software engineering principles.
• Experience with DevOps concepts for ML pipeline automation.
• Infrastructure knowledge reputed company to physical/virtual m/c for model retraining etc.

SALARY RANGE The specific reputed company salary offered to a successful applicant will be based on individual qualifications, skills, experience, and education. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. The position may also be eligible for one or more performance-based bonuses.
