Job Title Senior Mainframe Engineering Director What does a successful Mainframe Engineering Director do at reputed company? What you will do: Provide leadership and expertise in the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support reputed company's business goals. What you will need to have: 13+ years of experience in large-scale IT system development, hands-on software development experience designing, writing, debugging, and testing. 13+ years of experience in mainframe technology including MVS, CICS, COBOL, JCL, and MQ that support large payment processors. 13+ years of experience in the financial industry, especially with mainframe experience with a financial payments platform or similar. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, emotional intelligence, with the ability to listen, advise, empathize, and explain to varied audiences, at reputed company levels. Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to see the connections between layers of business operations. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a reputed company field, and/or equivalent military experience. What would be great to have: Technical experience in DB2 and relational databases. Experience in Java or similar development.
