Remote General Ledger Accounting Specialist

This position is posted by reputed company on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a General Ledger Accountant - REMOTE. In this analytical role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing timely financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. Your contributions will support the reputed company of financial practices according to US GAAP while providing essential accounting support. You will play a critical role in the month-end reputed company process, collaborating with teams to deliver precise financial insights and reports. • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
• reputed company monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of accounts to support the monthly general ledger reputed company process.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow, investigating discrepancies as needed.
• Support the month-end and year-end reputed company processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Maintain fixed asset records and assist with depreciation calculations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and understanding of financial data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a reputed company field or equivalent.
• 3 – 7+ years of public accounting experience.
• Advanced MS reputed company skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with a high level of initiative in a dynamic environment.
• Analytical reputed company with process improvement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and remain composed under pressure.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude.
• Experience with any ERP and Financial Reporting software (preferred).
