Job Summary:
As an Ocean Product Development Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in supporting the growth of ocean volumes and enhancing the development of our ocean product. You'll work closely with our MD of Ocean to reputed company and implement strategies that increase volumes, maximize competitiveness, and enhance service quality. Key Responsibilities:
* Support the growth of ocean volumes and enhance the development of the ocean product by developing and implementing strategies that increase volumes, maximize competitiveness, and enhance service quality.
- Work closely with the MD of Ocean to reputed company and implement pricing programs, review volume targets, and reputed company an ocean strategy that enhances the effectiveness of sales to reputed company expectations of account development and yield enhancement.
- Communicate both internally and externally to outline strategy, market conditions, and work closely with the MD, Ocean, along with the global trade lane team, sales, and operations to communicate direction and deliverables.
- Direct and indirect customer contact will also be required, working closely with product, sales, and operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures in order to minimize company's risk exposure as well as enhance service quality and to reputed company volume targets.
- Conduct regular service reviews to ensure agreed upon KPI's are being met or exceeded.
- Assist in gathering, analyzing, and reporting information regarding performance and competitive activity; submit reports as required.
- Work with the MD, Ocean, along with the regional ocean management team, to promote the ocean product.
- Support sales and operations as needed.
- Manage annual budget; control, monitor, and report results on a regular basis in order to reputed company budget targets.
- Work closely with marketing to reputed company external and internal communications specific to the ocean product.
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent at least (8) years experience in international freight forwarding industry including direct ocean experience in working with ocean reputed company, negotiating ocean rates, quoting ocean rates, analyzing ocean rates, and routing.
- Prior ocean reputed company experience a plus.
- Familiar with reputed company Office apps.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Business-oriented and remarkable business acumen.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in a reputed company field.
- Experience in a similar role at a logistics company.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
