Primary Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling high-volume calls from policyholders, providers, and third-party stakeholders, ensuring that their needs are met promptly and professionally.
  • Reviewing and maintaining new and revised procedures regarding policy information, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and updates.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through first contact resolution, maintaining adherence to defined operational standards, and meeting departmental targets for call volume, average handle time, and time management.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve reputed company issues, escalating concerns reputed company necessary, and providing exceptional service through multiple channels, including phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation, adhering to company policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 1+ years of work experience in a high-volume contact center environment, with a strong background in customer service and communication.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong focus on customer service, communication, and problem-solving.
  • Strong remote experience, with a reliable internet reputed company (minimum 20 Mbps upload and download speed) and a hard-wired reputed company.
  • A smartphone to access VPN, with a quiet and professional workspace.
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills, including proficiency in reputed company Office and keyboard functions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Minimum typing requirement of 30 wpm, with excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and first contact resolution.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we welcome candidates with:

  • Insurance industry experience, with a strong understanding of policy information and procedures.
  • A background in reception or a similar role, with experience handling high-volume calls and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and reputed company sound decisions.

Training and Development

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll undergo comprehensive training, including:

  • 2-3 weeks of training in a classroom setting, Monday-Friday, reputed company-4:30pm CST.
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities, with a focus on customer service, communication, and problem-solving.
  • Access to industry-leading tools and resources, with a focus on staying up-to-date on the latest developments and updates.

Schedule and Availability

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be required to work a 40-hour workweek, Monday-Friday, with a flexible schedule that meets the needs of our customers. You'll need to be available to work between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm CST, with the ability to work overtime as needed.
