Job Overview

We are currently seeking an reputed company Customer Care Associate to join reputed company in a remote reputed company. As a Customer Care Associate, you will be responsible for providing reputed company-line phone customer service to policyholders, beneficiaries, agents, and internal customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide reputed company-line phone customer service to policyholders, beneficiaries, agents, and internal customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and striving to meet service standards.
  • Handle calls from members inquiring about payments, policy information, or claims, utilizing knowledge of life insurance and annuity policies.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with both internal and external customers to resolve questions and issues.

  • Collaborate with management or other team members as appropriate to proactively address service issues and concerns.
  • Field between 75 to 100 calls per day, working in a designated quiet area while working from home.

Essential Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in an office environment, with a strong understanding of reputed company Windows PC applications.
  • 1 year of experience using a computer, with excellent typing skills and attention to detail.
  • 6 months of experience working in a remote or work-from-home environment, with a reliable internet reputed company and a quiet workspace.
  • High school diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in customer service principles and practices.
  • Previous insurance industry experience, with knowledge of life insurance and annuity policies, is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months of experience in a role that required attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability for your work product.
  • 6 months of experience in a role that required you to communicate (oral/written) effectively in a professional/office setting.
  • Experience working in a call center environment, with a strong understanding of customer service metrics and standards.
  • Knowledge of insurance industry products and services, including life insurance and annuity policies.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve reputed company customer issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.

Required Schedule Availability: Monday-Friday 7:00 am CT to 7:00 pm (Central Time), Saturday mornings (rotating) 8:00 am to 12:00 pm (Central Time) could also be required, depending on campaign but most shifts M-F reputed company to 5pm CST. Shift times may be changed as per client requirements. Additionally, Overtime may be required based on business requirements.
