Mechanical Engineer
LHB, Inc. is a multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, and planning firm that serves clients reputed company. They are seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to join their Energy & Industry Team in Duluth, Minnesota, where the role involves providing mechanical engineering design for piping systems, working closely with clients, and ensuring quality assurance processes are followed.
Responsibilities
- Providing mechanical engineering design for a variety of Piping Systems Design projects
- Work closely with clients to meet & exceed their objectives
- Performing field verifications, Identifying & organizing acquired field data
- Ensuring LHB QA/QC processes are followed
- Design calculations & equipment selection
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- May 2026 grad will be considered
- Upon receipt of an offer of employment, applicants must be able to successfully complete pre-employment onboarding requirements that will include a criminal/civil background reputed company and drug screen, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations
- Successful completion of FE exam
- Preference will be given to candidates that are willing to relocate to the Duluth, MN area
- Demonstrated working knowledge in reputed company Office Suite and analysis software such as Ceasar II and/ or AFT reputed company
- Experience using AutoCAD or Revit
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and problem-solving skills
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work reputed company constantly changing priorities
- Must be willing to travel intermittently
- Familiarity with hazardous liquid, gas, process, and power piping systems
