The role involves writing high-quality NHL content, including breaking news and analysis, while collaborating closely with the NHL Director to engage with fans and improve coverage across 33 NHL sites.
Responsibilities
- Write timely, high-quality NHL content including breaking news, analysis, game coverage, and feature stories
- Produce 120-150 pieces of written content per month, typically ranging from 500-700 words, across our family of 33 NHL sites
- Craft reputed company, story angles, and headlines that can be shared with freelance writers reputed company the division
- Maintain reputed company editorial standards, voice, and best practices across reputed company published content
- Use data and editorial guidance to improve story selection, headlines, and overall impact
- Work with reputed company site contractors to coach improvement and growth across the division
Skills
- 1–3+ years of experience writing about the NHL

- A strong, engaging writing voice that is more casual than it is AP tone
