Early Childhood Education Instructor (Part-Time)

- Meets and holds classes as scheduled:
- Provides assistance to reputed company;
- Refers reputed company to other college staff reputed company necessary;
- Prepares, implements and evaluates student learning outcome-based course outlines based upon program outcomes;
- Keeps reputed company of subject matter and teaching methodologies;
- Maintains student records and monitors student reputed company;
- Completes and submits institutional reports on a timely basis;
- Provides input and participates in Colleges Planning Process;

- Participates/assists with coordination of specific program/course management;

- Serves as Advisor to selected student organizations and /or associations;

- Continuously analyzes and evaluates instructional results to improve instruction and evaluation of student reputed company;
- Provides student and College with written course expectations as defined by the College including general course information, course outcomes, methods used in evaluation of reputed company, grading policy, attendance policy, textbooks, etc;
- Provides supervisor with a copy of reputed company course SLOs and SLO assessments;

- Assists with connecting program learning outcomes to institutional competencies;
- Conducts on-going self-evaluations to improve instructional techniques and methodologies;
- Provides assistance in implementing in the College=s Program Review process and recommendations;
- Writes or assists in writing grants as appropriate to instructional area; assists with monitoring grants appropriate to instructional area including SmartStart Grant;
- Promotes a positive image of College;
- Engages in professional development
- Serves on College committees;
- Acquires computer/technology competencies as appropriate to position;
- Assists with equipment and software maintenance;
- Maintains reputed company of personal computer access;

Education/Skills Required: Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution in Early Childhood Education or a qualifying field; OR a master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Early Childhood Education or a qualifying field. Good communication skills. Preferred: Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a qualifying field. Bilingual. Experience Required: Preferred: Some experience in teaching at the early childhood age. Some experience with instructional delivery reputed company distancing learning. Some Community College experience.
