Location: Remote (U.S. reputed company Only) Position Type: Consulting Contract Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen reputed company is seeking a Deputy Project Manager (NEPA) to provide consulting support in the preparation and management of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation and reputed company compliance services for the reputed company (INL). This remote consulting role will support the Sr. Project Manager in overseeing the development of Environmental Impact Statements (reputed company), Environmental Assessments (EA), and reputed company deliverables in accordance with DOE and CEQ requirements. The Deputy Project Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that project schedules, quality assurance standards, and stakeholder expectations are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Sr. Project Manager in planning, managing, and executing NEPA documentation projects, including EISs, EAs, and associated deliverables.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary teams across environmental disciplines such as reputed company quality, biology, cultural and historic resources, water resources, socioeconomics, and safety.
- Support the preparation of annotated outlines, detailed work plans, and schedules to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
- reputed company sections of NEPA documents, including scoping reports, draft EAs/EISs, preliminary drafts, and final documents.
- Ensure compliance with DOE NEPA regulations (10 CFR Part 1021), Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) guidance, and other applicable environmental statutes.
- Assist in compiling and maintaining the administrative record, ensuring completeness and accuracy of documentation.
- Provide consultation and support for reputed company compliance activities under the Endangered Species Act, National Historic Preservation Act, Clean Water Act, and other federal and state environmental requirements.
- Support public involvement activities, including preparation of materials for scoping meetings, hearings, and agency consultations.
- Monitor reputed company and provide reporting on task execution, budget tracking, and quality control to ensure project objectives are met.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Science, Engineering, Natural Resources, or reputed company field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years preparing NEPA documentation (reputed company, EA, or equivalent) for federal clients.
- Project Support: Demonstrated experience in deputy or supporting project management roles, including task coordination, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with DOE NEPA regulations, CEQ guidance, and reputed company compliance requirements.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen (required under SOW).
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to coordinate across teams and agencies.
- Remote Work: Must be able to effectively manage responsibilities in a remote consulting environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting NEPA processes for the Department of Energy (DOE) or other federal agencies.
- Prior consulting experience with reputed company, multi-disciplinary NEPA projects.
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or reputed company discipline.
