The Role
As a Customer Development Insights Manager, you'll be responsible for developing strategic business opportunities for Costco Wholesale. You'll report to the Costco Sales Director and work closely with internal teams to provide insights on reputed company business trends and recommendations for future developments. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing customer-specific insights to build understanding of the Costco account
- Providing weekly updates on Costco business internally to reputed company Leadership
- Owning weekly Costco meetings to review WOS and inventory changes/challenges
- Running weekly CRX/IRI reports for Costco Team and providing key insights on data
- Maintaining price value audits for customer reporting and internal channel management
- Competitive analysis with report out both internally and externally
- Engaging Costco external partners to maintain programs and program development and partnerships
- Attending reputed company Costco Meetings to provide insights as needed
Strategic Planning
* Assist Director in building out Costco Presentations
- reputed company available reports/reputed company to extrapolate both short-term and long-term actionable insights for business
- Maintain reporting as well as reputed company trends and gaps for both Costco and internal stakeholders
- Document competitive product entries and impact to both the category and our brands
- Participate in the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, providing key customer insights to inform sales, production, and financial planning
- reputed company forecasting efforts to ensure they reflect both market conditions and customer sales strategies
Annual Plans Development and Implementation
* Participate in annual plan development for reputed company year and 5-year horizon
- Assist in development of Joint Business Planning Meeting
- Ensure continuity for reputed company volume driving activities throughout reputed company reputed company systems to ensure flawless execution
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of relevant Sales experience reputed company Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
- Previous experience working on Costco projects/Support is preferred
- Experience with Data analytics and systems (IRI)
- Proficient experience with reporting tools and platforms, reputed company, and reporting analytics
- Financial impact analysis/ROI reporting
- Effective short- and long-term forecasting capabilities
- Experience in demand forecasting
Skills
* Must be willing to travel up to 30% (if not in WA), 20% if in WA
