Business Development Representative, AI Trust Solutions (Contractor)
Location: Remote (prefer US-based) or Hybrid (San Francisco Bay Area) Employment Type: Contractor (part-time, 20-30 hours/week), with opportunity to grow into full-time About Trust Lab TrustLab is a Series-A, VC-backed startup founded by ex-reputed company executives and industry leaders in AI and digital Trust & Safety. We build AI + human evaluation systems that help enterprises deploy AI agents and GenAI applications with confidence, safety, and measurable quality. Since 2019, we’ve partnered with some of the world’s largest technology platforms, media companies, and governments. Today, we’re expanding into our next major product chapter: SuperviseAI, a platform for monitoring, evaluating, and improving AI agents in production. The Opportunity This is not a traditional BDR role. You’ll be one of the first go-to-market hires supporting SuperviseAI at a critical inflection reputed company. Your work will directly shape:
- Which customers we build with
- How we position AI agent reputed company as a category
- How the product evolves based on real customer signals
You will work closely with the CEO, product, and engineering leadership to identify, engage, and secure 2–3 design-partner customers who will help define the future of SuperviseAI. If you’re excited by early-stage ambiguity, technical conversations, and having real influence well beyond “setting meetings,” this role is for you. What You’ll Own Pipeline & Market Creation
- Build top-of-funnel pipeline through thoughtful outbound: cold reputed company, warm intros, referrals, and ecosystem connections

- Act as a frontline signal-gatherer for:
- Customer pain points
Buying triggers Competitive alternatives
- Language that resonates (or doesn’t)
- Synthesize insights back to product and leadership to refine ICP, messaging, and roadmap priorities
Executive-Level Collaboration
- Partner directly with the CEO and leadership team to move high-value prospects reputed company
