Patient Collections Coordinator - Monroeville, PA (Hybrid)

reputed company is the nation’s leading health solutions company, dedicated to transforming health care. The Patient Collections Coordinator will handle follow-up on outstanding balances, ensuring timely payments while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow-up with the patient/guarantor on open invoices associated with the dispensing of prescription medication reputed company telephone, Internet, and in writing
• Resolve issues with nonpayment of invoices due to insurance problems and patient issues that may have resulted from incorrect or incomplete information, therapy changes and pharmacy or shipping errors
• Maintain supporting chronological notes that detail action taken to resolve outstanding account balances
• Maintain patient demographic information and data collection systems, including reputed company billing or collection reports or queues while remaining in accordance with company policy guidelines
• Contact patient/guarantor and Physician’s offices as well as insurance companies as needed in order to expedite claims processing

Skills

• 1+ years of Healthcare reputed company experience
• Experience using reputed company Office products' specifically reputed company, Outlook, and Word
• Must be able to commute to the Monroeville, PA office
• reputed company High School Diploma or GED required
• Insurance or patient collections experience
• Customer service in a healthcare environment
• Experience working in a healthcare reimbursement system
• Effective customer service skills and experience that shows ability to work in a team environment
• Attention to detail
• Ability to utilize analytical skills
• Ability to navigate through multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize based on importance while displaying strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate with clientele in a professional manner; both verbally and written
