[Remote] EHS Program Coordinator

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is the global leader in foodservice distribution, and they are seeking an EHS Program Coordinator to support their Environmental Health & Safety department. This role involves implementing safety and environmental programs, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards to maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations
• Gather and analyze data reputed company to workplace safety incidents, environmental impact, and regulatory compliance
• Assist in preparing safety reports, tracking safety performance, and identifying areas for improvement
• Help reputed company and maintain safety procedures, policies, and documentation for various departments
• Participate in the training and education of employees on safety practices, hazard recognition, and environmental sustainability
• Assist with risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and supporting the development of mitigation strategies
• Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure that safety recommendations are implemented
• Collaborate with other departments to support the integration of safety and environmental initiatives into daily operations
• Stay informed on relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations, and assist in ensuring the organization’s compliance

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company discipline or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
• 0-2+ years of experience
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Proficiency in reputed company Office tools (reputed company, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis, reporting, and presentations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to gather and analyze safety and environmental data
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with team members and employees
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other departments
• Analytical skills to support risk assessments and safety audits
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of environmental health and safety
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and professionally
