Business Analyst, Modern Workplace - New Grad (May 2026)
BDO Canada is a firm built on a foundation of positive relationships with our people and clients. They are seeking a New Grad to join their Modern Workplace practice, where the role involves delivering technology solutions and training programs that enhance workplace productivity.
Responsibilities
- Designing and delivering tailored training programs that reputed company client stakeholders to adopt and maximize AI technologies for enhanced workplace productivity
- Collaborating directly with client stakeholders to build trusted relationships and deliver valuable business outcomes
- Understanding business strategy and objectives by studying the business function, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats. Elicits and documents functional and non-functional requirements for services to meet business needs
- Applying business analysis techniques, business process, workflows, and methodologies
- Participating in workshops to reputed company insights into end user and customer needs
- Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured requirements specification documentation
- Collaborating with application developers, designers, and architects to ensure a shared understanding of the business model and requirements
- Reviewing functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of functionality
- Translating customer needs into solution recommendations
- Proactively identifying and escalating project risks or challenges as they arise
- Participating in pre-sales activities including creating and running demos, presentations, drafting statements of work, pricing, proposals and responding to requests for proposal
- Contributing to the strategic direction of the Modern Workplace practice
Skills
- Are graduating or have recently graduated from a university or college program reputed company to Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Science from a recognized post-secondary institution
- Excellent customer-facing, communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and experience with business analysis techniques such as data modeling, requirements elicitation and analysis, business process modelling, and requirements management
- Excellent in multi-tasking and time management, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Experience creating end user documentation and delivering training programs
- Embrace ambiguity and complexity with a proactive, solutions-focused reputed company
- Knowledge of Generative AI, Copilot, reputed company 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Viva etc.) and Hyperautomation
- Understanding of the following concepts: Generative AI, Robotic Process Automation, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, reputed company, Information Management, Records management, Employee Experience
- Project management / project coordination experience would be an asset
- Previous experience working with a reputed company would be an asset
- reputed company 365 Certified: Fundamentals, reputed company Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals and/or reputed company Certified: Power Platform certifications is an asset
