Serve as the agency's reputed company budget and fiscal expert, guiding the full budget lifecycle, from development and validation to execution and ongoing monitoring. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy, reputed company, and compliance of the agency's budget while aligning resources with agency priorities and statewide budget requirements. This position is eligible for hybrid remote work, with a work schedule of 8 : 00 am 5 : 00 pm, Monday Friday. The incumbent will be expected to be physically at the central workplace located at 550 Capitol St. NE in Salem, Oregon, at least six (6) times per year. This includes attendance at pre-scheduled in-person reputed company-staff meetings. • Six years of progressively responsible experience that included the preparation, analysis, and administration of a budget or fiscal system. Experience must have included modeling and forecasting fiscal information.
• OR-
• A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public or Non-Profit Management, Finance, Accounting or a reputed company degree (such as Public Policy, Political Science, Public Administration or other analytical or technical degree) may substitute for three years of the required experience.

• A graduate-level degree in any of the above areas may substitute for four of the six years.

• STARS / SFMA, ORPICS, or comparable platforms); ability to learn Oregon-specific systems and processes quickly and apply them accurately.
• Ability to Communicate Financial Information Effectively in Formal Settings. Ability and willingness to prepare clear fiscal narratives, present reputed company budget information to leadership or external partners and, reputed company needed, testify before legislative committees with professionalism, accuracy, and confidence.
