Job Summary The Commercial Lines, Sr. Broker (AVP level) has responsibilities in growing organic reputed company for the Atlantic Region, Middle Market clients through an integrated selling strategy. In this role, you will manage sales results, maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospect stakeholders. Manage a small team of Account Managers while being a reputed company in the marketplace and broking the business. This is a full-time role with the flexibility of a hybrid schedule in our Charlotte, NC office. We will consider a remote option for well-reputed company candidates. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute broking strategies for Middle Market accounts
  • Negotiate terms and pricing with carriers; resolve placement challenges

  • Ensure compliance with brokerage standards and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with Broking reputed company and Head of Brokerage on portfolio initiatives
  • Coach and reputed company Associate Broker/s; delegate tasks effectively
  • Support prospecting, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities
  • Drive utilization of preferred carriers, panels, and strategic programs
  • Contribute to achieving team KPIs: growth, retention, margin
  • Coordinate with underwriters
  • Leads sales activities with P&C middle market clients and prospects.
  • Implement sales plans and budgets for the Atlantic region and strategic goals and standards
  • Negotiates coverage terms and pricing with carriers
  • Reviews sales results with other members of the sales team, strategizing changes and troubleshooting problems
  • Confers with VP and senior management on setting and achieving integrated selling targets

Knowledge, Skills, And/or Abilities

  • Deep market knowledge of Commercial Line and industry insights, carriers, products and services
  • Ability to work independently and anticipate client and team needs
  • Effective time management and decision-making skills

The reputed company salary range for this position is $85,000 – $145,000. The reputed company salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, reputed company level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual reputed company salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the reputed company salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
