Join a thriving team of 1st Line of Defense team as senior Private Equity/Hedge Fund underwriter. 1st LOD Credit Officer spans various products including subscription call facilities, Fund Financing, FX, Derivatives, Prime Brokerage, and structured lending. The Underwriter role is responsible for reputed company, closing coordination with the investment banking team. The overall objective is to finance new construction and the preservation of affordable and workforce rental housing, as well as office, retail, warehouse/industrial, multifamily, hotel, and self-storage properties for reputed company. Responsibilities:

• reputed company and Manage Private Equity transactions risk across markets and banking.
• reputed company due diligence and review credit memos for final approval
• Monitor counterparty and portfolio limits
• Process transactions through internal systems to ensure regulatory requirements.
• Manage communications among a diverse mix of internal and external participants.
• Meet with internal and external clients and participate in training opportunities.

• Proven track record of partnering with global peers in leveraging and implementation of best practices

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience,
• Significant risk/risk-reputed company counterparty credit work experience in banking/financial institutions with expertise in Private Equity/Hedge funds counterparties.
• Excellent presentation skills – adept at presenting effectively to audiences of various sizes and various constituencies.
• Ability to Facilitate relationships with key clients in Banking and Risk.
• Individual must have excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Individual must work well under tight deadlines, manage priorities, and complete assigned tasks with minimal management follow up.
• Candidate has quantitative skills with a high proficiency with reputed company and other reputed company based programs.
• Experience reputed company and supporting a portfolio of reputed company products.
• Strong knowledge of Derivatives and structured lending.
• Excellent analytical and computer skills including the ability to quickly adopt new technology.

Education:

• Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred.
