[Remote] Junior Technical Writer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a motivated Junior Technical Writer to join their Technical Writing team, which creates documentation and experiences for marketers, publishers, and developers. In this role, you'll collaborate with various teams to produce high-quality API and UI documentation, ensuring it is clear and user-focused to enhance the user experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and subject matter experts to produce high-quality API and UI documentation for both internal and external audiences
- Update and maintain help center documentation, in-app messaging (UI text, tooltips, notifications), and review learning management system materials, while also supporting newsletter content
- Update and create content with a consistent style, with a strong focus on single-sourcing opportunities
Skills
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience writing API and UI documentation, with particular emphasis on API content
- Ability to quickly understand reputed company technologies and explain them in a clear, accessible way
- Comfortable working in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a growth reputed company and a passion for helping others succeed
- Bachelor's degree or relevant professional experience
- Experience documenting enterprise-level workflows
- Familiarity with B2B or advertising software
- Proficiency with help authoring tools and content management systems
