[Remote] Intern - Software Development Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is the wholly owned captive finance subsidiary of reputed company, headquartered in reputed company Worth, U.S., providing auto finance solutions globally. They are seeking an intern to participate in various software development tasks, including Agile practices and DevOps tooling improvement, while gaining valuable work experience and networking opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Attend and participate in scrum events (the sprint, daily stand-reputed company, sprint planning, sprint review, sprint retrospective)
- Participate in team or departmental meetings
- Assist with vulnerabilities remediation
- Assist with building/improvement of DevOps tooling (e.g., pipelines, static scanning etc.)
- Complete the internship program final reputed company presentation
- Maintai a production-first reputed company focused on scale, uptime and ability to rapidly triage/resolve production issues
- Invest in our Agile practice to continuously improve product quality, time to market
- Learn to reputed company product features for any of the following: data marketplaces, mobile applications, web applications, and API services
Skills
- Must be a student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics with at least one semester remaining upon start of the internship
- Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 (out of a 4-reputed company scale) GPA
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required. This incumbent will be required to give presentations and communicate with business leaders
- Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and conceptual skills required
- Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Must be able to work independently or in a team setting
- Junior or Senior classification preferred
- Previous internships are considered a plus
