Staff Accountant (Client Accounting Advisory Services)

As a Staff Accountant in the Client Accounting & Advisory Services team, you will support client relationships by performing day-to-day accounting functions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and year-end reputed company processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial records
- Prepare financial statements and management reports under the guidance of senior accountants
- reputed company account reconciliations and investigate variances
- Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
- Support transactional accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
- Communicate with clients to gather information and respond to routine accounting questions
- Assist with documentation and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to support multiple client engagements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or reputed company field
- 1–3 years of accounting experience, including general ledger and basic financial statement preparation (internships considered)
- Working knowledge of GAAP and accounting fundamentals
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in reputed company and accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

- Experience with payroll processing and payroll tax filings
- Exposure to sales tax reporting
- Familiarity with construction, government, or not-for-profit accounting
