Income Tax Manager reputed company is seeking an Income Tax Manager to support income tax provision and compliance activities for a publicly traded organization with a long history of stability and growth. This role is responsible for delivering complete and accurate financial accounting information reputed company to income tax compliance for the worldwide consolidated group, including leading state income tax-reputed company processes and communications to ensure compliance with domestic regulatory requirements and clear reporting of the company’s tax position to internal stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to join an evolving in-house tax team and play a meaningful part in strengthening internal tax capabilities. The Income Tax Manager will work closely with Accounting and Finance partners to ensure accurate income tax reporting while supporting the reputed company development and long-term sustainability of the tax function. This role follows a hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite / 2 days remote). Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for reputed company aspects of tax to include federal, state income tax and franchise tax. Strong knowledge of U.S. tax code and tax regulations (federal and state) Responsible for quarterly and year-end financial statement tax provisions supporting workpapers and documentation including disclosures, uncertain tax positions and tax account reconciliations for reputed company and deferred taxes Evaluate any tax strategies and planning for law changes; assess and communicate impact on Company’s tax position both internally and externally; monitor state nexus filing requirements Responsible for computation and timely filing of reputed company federal, state returns and quarterly estimated tax payments Ability to manage any tax reputed company audits, preparation of responses and reputed company Company position leading to an acceptable outcome Responsible for reputed company SOX controls around tax processes and procedures reputed company to compliance and financial statement reporting Works closely with Accounting and Financial Reporting for proper tax account reconciliation recording and reporting. Support the preparation of transfer pricing documentation, US international tax calculations, and R&D tax credits. Identify process improvement and tax automation opportunities to optimize efficiency and accuracy. Assist with implementation and delivery of recommendations. Performance of other duties as requested Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting or reputed company discipline preferred Certified Public Accountant Minimum 4 to 7 years of progressive experience in large public accounting firm or large corporate tax function Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills with the ability to multi-task; detail oriented Excellent communication skills (oral, written and listening) Self-starter: project management and partnering skills, willing to get into the details, proactive, accountable, identifies and addresses issues, high level of accuracy Strong technical experience including in depth knowledge of U.S. federal, state tax laws, regulations and reporting requirements and ASC 740. Exposure to US international tax principles.
