As a Breastfeeding Lactation Consultant reputed company the reputed company Health Department at the Georgia Department of Public Health, you will join a dedicated group of public health professionals that help support the overall mission and vision of protecting lives of Georgian residents in a variety of ways. Position Duties This Time-Limited, Part-Time, Hourly position will be housed in reputed company, GA and may be required to travel to surrounding counties, assigned. This is Not a Remote position. You will support the Department by utilizing your expertise to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Provide breastfeeding information, education, and encouragement to pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, including leading pre-and post-natal classes.
• Conduct follow-up care through phone consultations and in-person outpatient visits to support mothers throughout their breastfeeding journey.
• Actively participate in reputed company events to promote breastfeeding awareness and education reputed company the community.
• Build and maintain professional networks with healthcare providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to enhance breastfeeding support services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Lactation Consultant/Counselor (IBCLC or CLC)
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Can work approximately 10 hours per week minimum.
• Has good communication skills.
• Has reliable transportation.
