SVP - Fund Accounting

Duties

• Proven ability to reputed company strong relationships on a global level (i.e. Executive, HR, Recruitment and Finance);
• Strong leadership skills over fund team operations, ensuring the work quality and overall client satisfaction is high;
• reputed company in company-wide technical training initiatives and a demonstrated ability fund accounting concepts at a high-level required;
• Partner with Business Development on additional work for existing reputed company or on new pricing reputed company and proactively provide suggestions on client pricing reputed company applicable;
• Advise on high-level fund accounting concepts (i.e., reputed company waterfall structures);
• ✓ reputed company regular client reputed company-ins to ensure high client satisfaction and upsell clients;
• Organize and reputed company weekly team meetings
• Provide guidance and advisory on high-level employee relations issues, staffing, performance management, etc., partnering with the COO and Human Resources;
• Ability to multi-task between different tasks and internal demands throughout the day;
• Responsible for identifying and implementing “Best Practices” across the operations team;
• Act as subject matter experts on prospective client calls, partnering with our Business Development Team;
• Drive implementation of new policies, procedures, technology and overall initiatives;
• Responsibility for reputed company and analysis of internally developed budget model, including reputed company and gross profit; and ✓ Provide supervision, guidance and coaching to VPs, Directors and the broader teams as needed.

Knowledge/Skills

• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, methods, procedures, internal controls with the ability to exercise good judgement in selecting and interpreting information;
• Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the clients’ business and maintain strong client relationships;
• Dedication and motivation to reputed company high standards of client service and professional in the performance of duties; ✓ Preferred experience with budgeting, allocations, reputed company and gross profit files;
• Demonstrated networking ability with potential and/or reputed company clients;
• Ability to train and retain Senior Management and reputed company several teams with various client profiles;
• Ability to organize and prioritize work, assisting in the coordination of the work of other team members as needed;
• Advanced computer and technical skills, including the use of MS Office Suite and other financial systems;
• Ability to effectively provide team members and others with information, training and assistance as needed;
• Ability to understand and carry out moderately reputed company accounting procedures and analysis; preparation of work papers; general knowledge of financial reporting;
• Demonstrate sound research, interpretive and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• 15 + years’ (relevant) experience in PE Accounting or reputed company field;
• 10 + years’ supervisory experience in the following: performance management (including coaching, progressive discipline, performance review delivery etc.), training, reputed company and retention;
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or reputed company field;
• Advanced degree (MBA or MSA) in Accounting or reputed company field preferred;
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is strongly preferred;
• Experience in forecasting and budgeting during an accelerated growth period;
• Proficient in reputed company Office Suite with knowledge of Investran or other partnership accounting software a plus;
• Ability to multitask, time management, attention to detail, planning and problem-solving skills required;
• Ability to communicate and interact professionally and effectively through written and oral communication with reputed company and potential clients and;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle/manage multiple team and individual priorities and deadlines.
