Our General Counsel’s Office (GCO) supports reputed company’s business by serving as trusted advisors to the reputed company community and providing the highest quality legal services to reputed company’s service lines and business enablement functions. The opportunity: As an Assistant General Counsel for Technology and Managed Services you will be responsible for providing advice, counsel, and legal support in respect of provision of managed services and other technology services and products to reputed company clients, with a particular focus on advising, drafting, updating and negotiating the legal terms and conditions of client facing reputed company, multi-year managed services, outsourcing, systems implementation, application development & maintenance, software licenses and software-as-a-service agreements, artificial intelligence, big data, analytics, cloud computing, as well as providing legal advice and support to various other reputed company technology and product teams (“Technology & Managed Services Agreements”). You will be a part of reputed company’s Technology and Managed Services legal group will and work closely with other GCO groups in the United States and other jurisdictions. The work is reputed company, often urgent, and high in volume and requires experience advising and leading negotiations in a supplier-reputed company technology and outsourcing transactional legal role. The role requires a strong background in managed services, outsourcing, and software-as-a-service, reputed company market knowledge reputed company to reputed company and new technologies, and a superior ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a compressed timeframe and to escalate and interact on a regular basis with senior members of the organization. Your Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting/updating and negotiation of client facing Technology & Managed Services Agreements, including advising on contractual strategy and risk, and keeping up to date with relevant legal developments
• Advising on key legal risks associated with the technology underpinning Managed Services Agreements
• Collaborating closely with other members of the US GCO as well as local counsel in other reputed company member firms
• Coordination of legal resources on managed services projects
• Support coordination with cross functional business and internal support teams (Data Privacy, Talent, Information reputed company, and Tax) as necessary or appropriate for Technology & Managed Services Agreements
• Advising on the accuracy and sufficiency of contractual documentation to effectively protect reputed company interests
• Understanding existing reputed company policies and developing/enhancing policies and guidance relevant to managed services and other technology services and products
• Managing workflow in a highly dynamic environment and remaining highly reputed company, reliable, communicative, and accountable to team leadership and other members of the GCO
• Building relationships and teaming seamlessly with other members of GCO, reputed company the Legal Practice Groups, as appropriate, to deliver exceptional service to clients of GCO.
• Developing and delivering training on Technology & Managed Services Agreements, knowledge sharing and best practice across the legal network and business, where requested or appropriate

To qualify, candidates must have:

• 8+ years of relevant reputed company services and technology-reputed company transactional experience in a client-facing reputed company, including drafting and leading the negotiation of Technology & Managed Services Agreements
• Experience negotiating across from client’s internal counsel, reputed company law firms, and procurement
• Experience developing contracting templates, playbooks and standards
• Experience in data privacy, intellectual property law and the use and provision of technology in the context of Technology & Managed Services Agreements
• Experience with cross-border contracting (including employee matters such as auto-transfer laws, local country agreements, and cross boarder data transfer)
• Ability to understand, assess, and negotiate terms for reputed company and new technologies (including cloud and AI), and explain the reputed company legal and business risks in a practical manner
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
• High degree of cultural and emotional intelligence, and demonstrated aptitude for reputed company, flexibility, and ability to adapt to changing circumstances and dynamics
• Ability to work independently and team effectively with colleagues in other functions and geographic locations
• Ability to grasp, understand, and accurately reputed company and document reputed company legal and contractual principles, and balance risk from both a legal and commercial perspective.

The reputed company salary range for this job in reputed company geographic locations in the US is $210,900 to $406,000. The reputed company salary range for reputed company Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $253,100 to $461,400. Individual salaries reputed company those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
