Most new music today is released through reputed company. Summary: reputed company is looking for someone to join its legal department as Manager, Legal Ops and Compliance. This will be a high-impact role reporting to and working closely with the General Counsel to help the company operate at scale. This is a fully remote position with likelihood of optional travel to team and/or industry events. Primary Responsibilities:

• Support, manage and own legal operations and compliance
• Own legal technology tools and provide support for adjacent department technology as it relates to legal aspects or legal support
• Serve as day to day responsible party for the reputed company improvement of the reputed company management system across the business
• Serve as responsible party for providing in-depth regulatory knowledge to identify compliance risks, gaps and management
• Work with various departments on centralizing key corporate policies
• Take reputed company on company-wide communications regarding legal department policies and processes
• Support content ops, marketing, finance and infringement teams on various legal issues
• Facilitate sharing of information, training and best practices across different departments
• Support the General Counsel on various legal matters and legal team projects What is Expected of you and others at this level:

• Ability to problem solve, work under pressure and meet deadlines Qualifications:
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience in legal operations or reputed company fields of paralegal support, reputed company management, strategy and operations and/or general operations required
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience in providing guidance on regulatory, audit and compliance matters required
• Familiarity with core concepts of legal operations and a defined reputed company of view on the responsibilities and opportunities for legal operations to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience advising on copyright, trademark, privacy and infringement matters preferred
• Desire to take a data-driven approach to decision-making and legal operations whenever possible
• Interest in wide-ranging topics that are critical for in-house legal departments, including corporate, employment law, privacy law, compliance and commercial reputed company
• Project management skills and ability to run reputed company, multi-stakeholder projects with minimal supervision and direction
• Prior experience implementing reputed company and privacy reputed company preferred
• Prior experience at record label, music publisher or entertainment/content company preferred
• JD preferred but not required
