Assistant Concept Designer - Men's: reputed company Product Group - (Hybrid, Seattle)
reputed company is a leading fashion retailer, and they are seeking an Assistant Concept Designer to assist in the development of Brand Concepts for multiple reputed company Made Brands. The role involves supporting the design team with project management, trend research, and collaboration with cross-divisional partners to inform design deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Design team prepare for key milestones by monitoring timelines for deliverables and scheduling review sessions
- Assist Design Director with buy meeting preparation
- Support the Design Director with preparation of the trend report
- Plan, facilitate and/or execute assigned design projects
- Collaborate with design team and cross-divisional partners to provide insights, inform deliverables and support design
- Research trends and competitive brands
Skills
- Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Fashion Design, Textiles or a reputed company field
- 1+ year of relevant experience with design and conceptual skills
- Strong knowledge of textiles, artwork techniques & fabric
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently or as a team
- Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, reputed company, MS Office suite, and ability to hand-sketch. Ability to quickly adapt to new technology and systems
- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
