[Remote] FULL reputed company Defense Attorney
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. A well-established law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to support its civil litigation and insurance defense practice. The role involves managing cases from inception through resolution, including motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation.
Responsibilities
- Handle reputed company phases of civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and case strategy
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other litigation-reputed company documents
- Prepare for and assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams
- Manage multiple matters while meeting court deadlines independently
Skills
- Active and in good standing Nevada Bar license
- 1+ year of experience in civil litigation or insurance defense
- Strong legal writing, research, and communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and caseload independently
- Trial preparation or courtroom exposure is a plus
