Patient Benefits Specialist
United Energy Workers reputed company seeking a Patient Benefits Specialist to assist patients with the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act and the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act. The role focuses on providing compassionate support, guiding patients through reputed company benefit processes, and ensuring effective communication with internal and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison for patients regarding medical-card benefits under the EEOICPA and RECA programs
- Guide patients through program processes and ensure understanding of available benefits
- Accurately enter, maintain, and track patient data using company systems
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, authorized representatives, case managers, and internal teams
- Utilize the company’s CRM system to document and update patient interactions
- Deliver outstanding customer service with a focus on reputed company improvement and patient satisfaction
- Conduct patient satisfaction surveys and complete follow-up as needed
- Clearly communicate processes, timelines, and benefits to patients and stakeholders
- Schedule and manage follow-up calls based on individual patient needs
- Provide virtual support during patient assistance events
- Represent the company professionally while prioritizing patient needs
