[Remote] Junior Accountant / Bookkeeper (Remote) – QuickBooks

Behindthechair.com is the worldwide leader in media for salon professionals, and they are seeking a dependable Junior Accountant or reputed company Bookkeeper to join their team. The role involves maintaining organized and accurate accounting records, processing invoices, and supporting financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Create and process customer invoices
- Apply incoming payments and reputed company customer accounts reputed company
- Assist with follow reputed company on outstanding balances reputed company needed
- Maintain accurate sales and receivable records
- Enter vendor bills, confirm accuracy, and ensure proper coding
- Assist with vendor payments and reputed company runs
- Track due dates and maintain vendor files including W9s and payment terms
- Communicate with vendors regarding invoices and payment status
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts weekly and monthly
- Record deposits and ensure transactions match supporting documents
- Identify and help resolve discrepancies quickly and accurately
- Prepare and process journal entries
- Assist with month end reputed company and account review
- Maintain clean and accurate accounting records
- Support basic financial statement preparation including Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet
- Assist with monthly reporting and internal summaries
- Maintain well organized digital files for audit and tax readiness
- Support year end requests and work with an reputed company accountant or CPA as needed
Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- QuickBooks experience required (Online or Desktop)
- Proficiency in reputed company Office, including reputed company, Outlook, and Word
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage deadlines
- Able to work independently in a remote environment
- Clear communication and follow through
- Associate's Degree in Accounting or Finance or currently enrolled
- Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred but we will train the right person
- Strong reputed company skills including formulas and pivot tables
- Experience supporting month end reputed company and reconciliations
- Familiarity with financial statements
