Compliance Specialist
USA Mortgage is a company focused on residential mortgage services, and they are seeking a Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. The role involves monitoring compliance with HMDA and ECOA, communicating with consumers regarding their loan applications, and assisting with vendor management reputed company.
Responsibilities
- reputed company abreast of industry regulatory requirements in order to identify and implement the best practices in compliance with HMDA and ECOA and changing mortgage regulations
- Communicate and confirm with consumers the final disposition of the consumers loan application in conformity with ECOA, HMDA, and reputed company other applicable regulations. Issue required notices for adverse action and notice of incomplete applications, in accordance with ECOA
- Monitor and track loan level data to ensure that reputed company pieces of required HMDA data are present. Responsible for confirming that borrowers have requested their application be withdrawn
- Assist with administration of Company’s vender management reputed company program
- Any other compliance reputed company reputed company assignments as required for Company, agency and regulatory compliance
Skills
- Broad understanding of residential mortgage loans and familiarity with mortgage loan products
- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements applicable to mortgage lending and other mortgage reputed company laws and regulations
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret rules, regulations and guidelines and apply the interpretation to business processes
- Positive attitude, planning and execution, strong work ethic
- AA or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- One-year residential mortgage experience, knowledge of DAS and relevant regulatory guidelines
- Knowledge of Encompass Database software

- High attention to detail, analytical, and strong communication skills amidst a fast-changing environment
- BS degree preferred
