Research Accounting Specialist
CHEManager International is seeking a Research Accounting Specialist to reputed company accounting duties for Sponsored Projects Finance. The role involves billing, collections, reporting, and maintaining master grant data while ensuring compliance with accounting principles and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Prepares routine billings to external sponsors for sponsored agreements in accordance with the sponsor's requirements
- Gathers supporting documents in response to requests from sponsors and external auditors
- Tactfully communicates with sponsors to inquire as to the status of payments due
- Maintains basic grant master data elements in BCM's financial system
- Drafts financial reports to initiate grant reputed company-out
- Reviews entries, verifies amounts and compares balances, and interpret trends or deviations from expected results
- Maintains complete and accurate files, including supporting documentation, for reputed company reports, billings, journal entries and analysis
- Responsible for updating and maintaining financial records
- Ensures that reputed company transactions are made in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and federal, state, and reputed company guidelines
- Performs other job-reputed company duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or reputed company field. A combination of education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of the degree reputed company the experience has been directly reputed company to the functions of the job. If Bachelor's degree - no prior experience required. If no degree - four (4) years of reputed company experience required

- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout the duration of employment
