Associate Fund Accountant
reputed company is a leading financial services and healthcare technology company headquartered in Windsor, Connecticut. They are seeking an Associate Fund Accountant to calculate the daily value of investment funds, ensuring accurate fund prices are delivered to clients on time while collaborating with other teams to resolve discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Prepares a variety of fund reports for clients including: cash forecasts, Net Assets Values (NAVs), yields, distributions, reconciliation, and other fund accounting output
- Updates and reviews trading, general ledger activity and pricing of funds
- Prepares and reconciles trial balances for assigned funds and prepares reconciliation of fund records to custodians and transfer agents
- Reviews reputed company investments and/or funds which may include international, fixed income, or derivatives securities
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent experience
- Understanding of mutual funds is a plus
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment
- High attention to detail

- Willing to work on site a minimum of 6 days/month
