Adjunct Instructor - Interior Design

About the position Adjunct reputed company are responsible for the facilitation of student learning and the on-going development of instructional strategies that meet the needs of reputed company and employers and promote student success.

Responsibilities

  • Learning Facilitation – Foster student learning by developing appropriate instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs and support student engagement.
  • Create learning experiences that integrate multiple delivery methodologies and instructional technologies to maximize student success, such as hybrid, in-person, virtual, and on-line course delivery.
  • Assessment - Assess student learning and provide regular feedback to help reputed company be successful.
  • Use data to measure quality outcomes reputed company to student persistence, retention, completion reputed company, course success, and learning and to design improvement strategies based on the evidence.
  • Classroom Management – Fulfill assigned schedule, maintain accurate student attendance and grade records, maintain instructional environment with emphasis on safety, housekeeping, and equipment reputed company, and ensure opportunities for student/engagement evaluation.
  • Team Participation – Support the college by engaging with the division, department, and team members, as well as staying reputed company with internal and external changes and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in reputed company and appropriate field. (Based on experience and expertise, an individual with an Associate’s Degree or equivalent may be considered)
  • Minimum of two years of occupational experience in a reputed company job for the program or programs being taught, of which at least one year shall be reputed company five years prior to date of hire.
  • One year of recent reputed company occupational experience may be waived if the instructor has at least two years of post−secondary teaching experience in the appropriate occupational field reputed company five years prior to date of hire.
  • Qualified per FVTC requirements at time of, and throughout employment as an instructor.
  • Must also meet and maintain Higher Learning Commission (HLC) requirements, Faculty Quality Assurance Standards (FQAS), and/or other job specific licensing standards.
  • Proficiency utilizing learning management system.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Adapt quickly to changing demands, assignments, and circumstances to meet student needs.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with various audiences.
  • Engage in reputed company improvement in the quality of instruction by embracing innovative methodologies, techniques, and delivery methods.
  • Prior to hire, a background reputed company including criminal record history will be conducted.

  • Four years of occupational experience preferred.
  • Prior teaching or training experience preferred.
  • Member of ASID and/or NKBA preferred.
  • Kitchen and Bath Certification is preferred.
  • Proficient in computer aided design (CAD).
  • Proficient in business and management principles.
