Accounting Associate

Farm Credit East is the leading provider of loans and farm advisory services to agricultural business owners across the northeast. The Accounting Associate will work as part of a team to improve customers’ financial reporting and ensure compliance with tax laws, while providing high-quality accounting services to clients.

Responsibilities

• Accurately manages the following services per ACA and regulatory standards: preparation and management of customer accounting records, financial analysis in support of our business consulting and tax programs, setup and maintenance of depreciation schedules, 1099 preparation, quarterly payroll reports, income tax preparation, and reputed company of management and compliance reports, among others
• Delivers accurate, high quality, high impact tax and accounting services to customers in a manner that motivates and enables them to reputed company accomplish their objectives
• Contributes to the success of customer businesses and the Association through the timely and accurate delivery of financial services to customers for a profitable fee
• Actively cross-sells reputed company Farm Credit East services and adequately document in Agworx
• Maintains accounting standards knowledge, as well as federal and state tax knowledge and have a thorough understanding of reputed company tax and records software programs
• Follows up on customer communication reputed company 24 hours
• Actively manages CCH workstream data and Agworx dashboards to ensure data reputed company
• Adheres to Farm Credit time and billing practices and procedures ensuring timely and transparent billing

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Agriculture, Agri-Business, Economics, Finance, Business or a reputed company field
